Cross Country Love
Fabric Cyanotype, series of 9, 11×14 in , 2019.
Tell Me Your Love Story seeks to add content to the NASA Golden Record Project which recorded evidence of life on Earth for extra terrestrials. This project translates love stories into seemingly chemical fingerprints, as they also reference electron micrographic imagery of hormones that make us feel love. The frequency and energy of the recorded love stories are captured through linguistic software and their wavelengths become the source material for cyanotypes.

Cross Country Love is a 9 panel series that is part of the Tell Me Your Love Story project. The cyanotypes depict an abstraction of a young woman’s love story describing her cross country travel to be with her boyfriend. The audio file was translated as a spectrograph, providing imagery for the narrative that seemingly references the wilderness and her journey.
